I have been a RN for 10 years. I have touched on many different specialties through out the years. Most of them have been based on the Pediatric population. I have worked on a pediatric step down unit, home care agency, visiting nurse service, clinic, hematology and oncology/ bone marrow transplant unit, and have taught in a rehab center. I have worked as a staff RN, nurse supervisor, preceptor, and charge nurse. Currently, I am working on a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for the last 6 years. I am also a BCLS instructor. This year I am proud to say I have achieved one of my goals, which was to be a PALS instructor. My next goal is to one day become a nurse educator.
